John Chambers is the Chairman and CEO of Cisco. He served as Vice Chairman of the President George W. Bush National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC), and on President George W. Bush’s Transition Team and Education Committee, and on President Bill Clinton’s Trade Policy Committee. Chambers has received numerous awards for his leadership including the 2012 Bower Award for Business Leadership from the Franklin Institute, Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People”, one of Business Week’s “Top 25 Executives Worldwide” and “CEO of the Year” by Chief Executive Magazine. Under his philanthropic leadership, Cisco has received the US.State Department’s top corporate social responsibility award (ACE) twice, and the first-ever Clinton Global Citizen Award.
