M.K. Yair Lapid is the Israeli Minister of Finance and Founder and Head of “Yesh Atid” (“There’s a Future”), the second largest party in the current Knesset. He was the host of Channel 2 Israel’s popular Friday night news magazine, Ulpan Shishi and wrote a weekly column for the Yediot Ahronot newspaper. Lapid has published seven books, wrote a TV drama series called “War Room,” as well as acting in the Israeli film, “The Singing of The Siren.” Lapid was voted the 36th-greatest Israeli of all time in a 2005 Ynet of the general public.
