Mr. Norman Issa, Israel

Norman Issa is an actor, director and playwright. He appeared in the films, “My Lovely Sister”, “The Syrian Bride” and “Habait Bepinat Harechov” and is well-known for his leading role as ‘Amjad’ for two seasons in the television series, “Arab Work” by Said Kashua. He has directed numerous plays, many at the Haifa Theater, and won the Best Director Award for the children’s play, “Ach Ach Boom Tach”, which he both wrote and directed. He has been named Best Actor in the Haifa Theater, Best Actor in a one-man show, Best Arab Director, and was named Best Director for “Gilgamesh”. Issa is the Art Director of the Jaffa International Children’s Festival and is currently performing in “The Ugly One” at the Haifa Theater.
